The Professional Football Equipment Managers Society (PFEMS) is excited to announce the continuation of its scholarship program aimed at supporting and encouraging undergraduate students pursuing careers in equipment management. After a highly successful previous year, we are eager to assist emerging student equipment managers. The scholarships will be available for the 2025-2026 academic year, funded through the PFEMS general fund.
Program goals
The primary objective of this scholarship program is to provide financial assistance to current junior and senior undergraduate student managers, while also motivating dedicated and deserving students to pursue their passion for equipment management.
Scholarship award amount
The total distribution amount for 2025–2026 will be five $1,000 scholarships awarded on a one-time basis.
Use of scholarship
Scholarship awarded may be applied towards any tuition and fees.
Basis of award
The scholarship committee will finalize the selection of scholarship recipients based on a comprehensive review of each applicant's application form, video, and resume.
The scholarships will be awarded primarily based on all of the following:
- experience managing equipment
- academic qualifications
- career aspirations
- projects/accomplishments.
Applicants must be at least rising sophomores, enrolled as full-time students in a four-year college or university.
Applicants must be current student managers actively working in an equipment room.
Previous scholarship recipients are not eligible to apply again, although former applicants may reapply if they still meet the eligibility criteria.
Applications must be submitted in full by January 31st, 2025.
