Getting an NFL team ready for an international game involves far more than packing a few extra bags. The Ravens’ equipment staff documented the contents of their trunks and bags down to the countries where individual items were manufactured, while preparing more than 170 bags and 60 trunks for the trip to Brazil. The operation also began months in advance, with 91 player bags sent ahead in May.
